Here at "Sal y Pimienta" (salt and pepper in Spanish) we know that we have some of the best views of the Old Town Harbour in Puerto Del Carmen. We also know that trading on the view alone is never enough and that our customers expect the highest standards of food and service. Every dish we prepare for you is made with the same love and care we put into the dishes we create for our families at home. Nothing but the freshest and highest quality ingredients will suffice and we have an excellent reputation for the quality of our fresh, locally sourced fish.


In creating the "Sal y Pimienta" experience we wanted to provide an atmosphere that feels like home. When anyone is our restaurant says to you "mi casa su casa" (my house is your house) we really mean it. We want you to feel at home with us, to feel part of our family, to feel free to ask us to prepare something a little different, to let us surprise and delight you with an unexpected wine or accompaniment, and for you to look forward to coming back to us whenever you have been away.

    The pandemic was a very serious event for millions of people around the world and was devastating to businesses on islands like Lanzarote which are heavily dependent on tourism for their income. Like many successful, legally registered, businesses in Lanzarote we were able to benefit from the excellent financial support offered by the town, island, and regional governments.

    This support allowed us to keep our excellent staff employed and ensured that, when restrictions were lifted, we were able to open quickly and safely and we are delighted to acknowledge our gratitude publicly to everyone involved who worked so hard throughout the pandemic.

    We had a meal 25 Sept could not fault from start to finish. Starters: Octopus for myself and my wife had the Melon and ham, both were very good. Main course: I had the Sea Bass cooked and served at the table (on fire!) was fantastic my wife had the pasta with king prawns both meals were lovely and hot! Great wine choice will call in again when back in Lanzarote.

    Visited this restaurant several times during our stay have visited on a previous trip. Food is very good. This time had seafood platter lamb and fillet steak in a peppercorn sauce cannot fault any of them. Staff friendly good situation looking over the harbour.
